Ryan Brennan learns Earth is one of many worlds and is in grave danger. The world Terrapenya has challenged Earth to the ancient tournament of Jrulasii Fectoviar (ja-rule-ah-sigh feck-toe-vee-are); the Decree of the Chosen Warrior. The leader of Terrapenya sends his Chosen into Earth to murder the threats before the tournament begins. Ryan is the Seraph and, joined by Tim, James, and Thomas, they become hosts to Sentinels, creatures designed to protect the Chosen.
Alberto Del Camari loves his family. Living the life of a cartel enforcer for much of his adult life, he found a way out to help his blood. His days are now filled with maintaining peace for his cousin’s club, taking care of his mother and his niece, while searching for true love and a family of his own. Will he find the peace he has been craving his entire life or will this new threat prove worse than that of his previous lifestyle?
Hsu Pang’s bloodline destined him for greatness. His parents left him as a baby at Temple, a school hidden somewhere in China that exists to train those wishing to compete in Jrulasii Fectoviar. He doesn’t have the easiest life, but as a teenager, he has gained a core group of friends to help him train and keep him grounded. He wishes to have the life of a ‘normal’ kid and be free of responsibilities. Unfortunately, that choice eludes him. Will he embrace the necessary sacrifices to be the hero his people need, or will his destiny fall short?
Shadow is a man of honor. He served his country with dignity and respect, offering his life to protect those who cannot protect themselves. His dedication and loyalty led him to gain his own unit of elite operatives. Shadow remains incorruptible and runs his Asylum with integrity. Will he make the world a better place, or will the harsh realities of cruel people prove too much?
The lives of the Chosen are in jeopardy the moment their skills are discovered. While competing in the tournament is their choice, the enemy persists regardless. Guided by Ventus, Earth Guardian of Wind, they must defend themselves and decide what they will sacrifice to defend their world.

Earth's Protectors
King Cobra
He is the being that creates the Sentinels that defend the Chosen from that world. K.C. resides on the Island he created as a center for his forces to maintain balance against those who break the rules.
Kemuri
Born in sixth century Japan, Kemuri is the former leader of the deadliest clan of assassins the world has ever seen. Following a betrayal, the direction of his life was altered to the side of good, and he has become the most dangerous human to exist. He is willing to do whatever is necessary for the greater good, and he has the skills to do so.
Diamond
Not much is known about his past, yet. However, his present is filled with jokes, laughter, and a demeanor that makes everyone smile. He is a skilled fighter with the ability to heal and a unwavering drive to do what is right. He assists in training the hosts, and offers them a jovial balance to his partner’s seriousness.
Temperance
She is the daughter of King Cobra and assists in training and provides a light and warmth that holds the darkness at bay. Temperance is the voice of reason and compassion in a world of chaos.
Maven
He is the computer and technology genius that resides on K.C.’s Island. Though clearly not a fighter, Maven assists the others in their battles and uses his skills to give them every possible advantage.
Dimitri
He arrives on the Island to assist in training the hosts. His story and purpose are yet to be revealed.
Macero
A mysterious stranger that appears in times of need, Macero is a skilled a fighter and possesses abilities that can give some nightmares.

The younger cousin of Ryan, Tim is the middle of three with parents that are at odds with one another more often than not. When his cousin asks him to help defend their world, he struggles to keep up, but vows to be a bigger hero than his cousin.

James has spent most of his life in the foster system. His parents and sister died in a car accident and his relatives had not wanted him. He had lost hope until he met his best friend, Thomas. Together, they managed to move forward as best they could. After a chance encounter, both their lives will never be the same.

Diablo
Thomas’ life has been hard. His mother died when he was young and his father was unfit to care for him. Living in the foster system has taken its toll. Meeting James alleviated the loneliness but it’s the chance meeting at the mall that truly changes their lives.
